CZ fans know the line-up: the CZ 75 family on the hammer side, the P-10 on the striker side. The DUTY 4.0 is the next striker gun, and it brings a new architecture. The serial number now sits on an internal modular chassis, with a fiberglass-reinforced polymer grip frame around it, and the SFDA trigger has been refined to 5.6 pounds with 9 mm of travel and a 4 mm reset. The slide is direct-mount optics-ready, the sights fixed, the 4-inch barrel unthreaded.
Four models: C compact at 15+1 and 135 mm tall, F full-size at 17+1 and 143 mm, each with an MS variant that adds a manual thumb safety. For Kansas buyers from Overland Park and Kansas City to Wichita, Salina and Great Bend, it slots in as the home-defense or carry pistol next to a Scorpion-style 9mm carbine. This is an independent CZ-focused shop, not affiliated with CZ-USA, and the DUTY 4.0 is a $729 MSRP new release.
What is new under the slide is the registered modular chassis. The serial number lives on the internal chassis, not on the polymer grip, so the polymer grip is a part you can change while the gun stays the same gun. Around it CZ put a reworked SFDA striker trigger, rated at 25 ± 4 N (5.6 ± 0.9 lbs) with a 4 mm (0.16 in) reset and 9 ± 1 mm (0.4 ± 0.04 in) of travel, and a slide cut for direct-mount optics. CZ's own photos show it wearing Holosun, Aimpoint and Shield red dots.
Pick the F when the gun lives on a belt or in a bedside rather than under a T-shirt. Over the carry-size it adds two rounds (17+1 against 15+1), about 8 mm of grip and 10 g of weight, and nothing else changes.
This is the version with a manual thumb safety. The three internal safeties (firing pin block, trigger safety, trigger bar safety) are the same as on every DUTY; the lever is an extra for people who were trained on one or simply want one.
Best fit: home defense, duty use, competition and long range sessions where the extra grip and two more rounds matter. Shooters coming from a CZ 75 will recognize the grip angle; buyers coming from any other striker gun will notice the trigger first.
Pick the C, F or MS model and name the Kansas dealer you want it shipped to. Kansas has no purchase permit and no waiting period; your dealer runs the NICS check at pickup. Magazines, optics and ammo ship to your door. Live price and stock checks happen at order time, before payment.
Questions buyers ask: Do DUTY 4.0 magazines work in a P-10? CZ has not confirmed magazine compatibility with the P-10, so treat them as separate until CZ says otherwise. Buy DUTY 4.0 magazines for the DUTY 4.0. Does the DUTY 4.0 come with a manual safety? Only the MS versions have the thumb safety; the standard C and F rely on the firing pin block, trigger safety and trigger bar safety. Is the CZ DUTY 4.0 F MS the same gun as the F? Yes, apart from the manual thumb safety. Chassis, trigger, slide and the 17+1 capacity are identical.
