The CZ 457 Varmint is a bolt-action rifle in .17 HMR with a 20.5-inch heavy barrel and an overall length of 38.5 inches. It weighs 7.08 pounds and holds five rounds plus one, with a single magazine included. The receiver is optic ready and takes an 11mm dovetail. The Turkish walnut stock has an American-style comb, and a wide flat forend rests on a sandbag or bench.

Rimfire .17 HMR is a small-caliber choice for varmint and small-game shooting at short to medium range. The heavy barrel suits a shooter who spends time behind a scope on the bench, and the adjustable trigger lets the owner tune the pull for a precise setup. It is a bench and varmint rifle first, built around steady, repeatable shots.
