The CZ Quail is a youth-sized 20 gauge over-under with 28-inch barrels in a black chrome finish. Its mid-rib-delete barrels reduce weight toward the muzzle, and the gun weighs 6.4 pounds at 44.5 inches overall. The length of pull is 13.5 inches, and the Turkish walnut stock is paired with a single extractor. It holds two shells with a 3-inch chamber, has a manual safety, and comes with five interchangeable choke tubes.

For a smaller-framed Kansas hunter, the 13.5-inch length of pull and light weight are the main configuration points. The state's firearm seasons allow centerfire rifles, shotguns with slugs, centerfire handguns and muzzleloaders, so a 20 gauge fits only where its load and the unit rules allow. Check the KDWP regulations summary for your county's deer unit and cartridge rules before using it. A dealer sale requires a photo ID, Form 4473 and the NICS check.
