The CZ Sharp-Tail is a 28 gauge side-by-side break-action shotgun with 28-inch blue and black hard-chrome barrels and a 3-inch chamber. It weighs 5.9 pounds and measures 45.75 inches overall, with a 14.5-inch length of pull. The Turkish walnut pistol-grip stock and color case-hardened receiver give it a traditional look. A single selectable trigger chooses the barrel to fire, and a manual tang safety and bead sight complete the gun. It holds two shells.
For a Kansas hunter, the state's firearm seasons, December 2-13 for 2026-27, allow shotguns with slugs, while this 28 gauge is a small-gauge choice. Check the KDWP rules for cartridge and game limits before hunting with it. Its 5.9-pound weight and 3-inch chamber suit a hunter who wants a light, traditional field gun. A dealer sale runs on a photo ID, Form 4473 and the NICS check.
